icons for nokia phones

i found a site that offers *some* icons and ringtones for nokias for free.

i have a nokia 8290 and what i cant figure out is how exactly do i change the icon?? do i download the "Group graphics" on the site? if anyone has any ideas please let me know.

SMS, or Data Cable style, i think you can also use infared if your phone supports it.
